I am happy to say that Parked is now working with Local Toronto bands Den Mother and The Box Tiger.
This short film has really been a gateway to working with some great local Talent. Aside from working with these great bands we have met a large amount of talent outside of our school community who have been excited to be a part of Parked.
Chris Payne is a wonderful photographer who joined our team. He took our BTS (behind the scenes) photographs, and the crew could not have been more pleased with them. He was such a great guy to work with, so kind, funny, and extremely talented. You can see some of his work on his blog.
We also worked with hard working, talented and witty makeup artists Hannah Dela Paz and Kelly Nguyen. These girls were awesome. They were up beat and a joy to have on set.
Another talented artist, Steven McCorkell, joined in and helped the team out with our story boards. He worked quickly and produced some beautiful images to help the crew figure out how the script would play out.
Our Director of Photography, Aldo Quivan, was an essential part of the set design. He supplied many of the beautiful photographs seen throughout Parked.
And finally I can’t forget to mention all the wonderful actors and actresses who committed so much of their time to this short film.
Maria Asofiei - Writer/ Actress - Marilyn
Victoria De Giovanni - Actress - Emily
Luke Aguilina - Actor - Jack
Brandon Zakkai - Actor - Funeral Director
Sara Price - Actress - Funeral Lady
Ian Funk - Actor - Driver
Working with all of these people has really opened my mind to all the creative talent I will come across during my film career. Thank you everyone! It is so inspirational to see such different people with a wide variety of skills to come together and work collaboratively on one project!
